CRU
For a raw, living diet that preserves enzymes and provides the highest quality nutrients (vitamins, phytonutrients, etc.) for cell function. This diet is part of a lifestyle developed by Ann Wigmore and Viktoras Kulvinskas, whose legacy has been carried on by Anna Maria and Brian Clement at the Hippocrates Institute in Florida. Ann Wigmore has inspired many others. They are part of the same quest for health and vitality by going back to basics; for example, the Boutenko family who popularized smoothies — promoting the easy daily consumption of plant-based foods.
Also, for foods cooked at low temperature — to avoid the Maillard reaction — as recommended in the hypotoxic diet, popularized by Jacqueline Lagacé — and offered at Spa Eastman under the name “Cuisine Tonique”. This Quebec researcher, who holds a degree in immunology, suffered from arthritis and expanded on the work of Dr. Jean Seignalet. This French-based clinician, kidney transplant pioneer and biologist published “L’alimentation ou la troisième médecine”, a reference work frequently used by naturopathy students. From 1985 onwards, Dr. Seignalet turned his attention to nutrition, and in 1986 published a book for doctors specializing in rheumatology, with a foreword by Jean Dausset, Nobel Prize winner for medicine.
Belief… For open-mindedness, for the healthy curiosity that allows us to observe, question wonder, learn, and help science evolve, through a more advanced understanding of how nature works. Beliefs have to evolve with the scientific discoveries and advances of each era, otherwise they risk blinding us or making us deaf to the obvious. This openness and knowledge of sometimes astonishing facts is a step towards pushing back the limits of what is possible — while at the same time favoring the PLACEBO effect. So, knowing and understanding the NOCEBO effect can encourage us to take charge of our lives, by seeking the help and support we need to promote vitality.
the symbol
QiluCRU | The LOGO
The Qilucru logo incorporates the symbolism of the Flower of Life, promoting the ancestral virtues of holy basil (Tulsi) and illustrating the germination of a seed, evoking vitality and health in everyday life.
1. Flower of life
The background of the letter Q in Qilucru is inspired by the symbol of the Flower of Life or Seed of Life.
2. Holy basil
The green leaf of holy basil — incomparable, mother of nature’s medicine, Queen of herbs — is a variety with powerful virtues known and used in India for over 5,000 years under the name of Tulsi. Used for its remarkable healing properties, it is considered a true elixir of life, a plant that promotes health and longevity.
3. Seed
The white — at the center of the LOGO — illustrates a seed germinating and coming to life. With water, it will grow and contribute to the vitality of the person who chooses to include it in their daily diet.
Because…
Why QiluCRU
Because Roxane, founder of QiluCRU — an engineer turned manager and coach — never expected that LIFE would get her so involved in the world of Health, Quality of Life; as well as prevention, vitality, healing and its link to lifestyle and emotions (epigenetics).
So… who’d have thought? (Qui l’eût cru?)
Frankly, anything is possible!
Because customers can be amazed and learn things that are rarely taught.
Because every little improvement can provide the energy to make decisions.
Because eating CRU (raw) plants (sprouts, vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts, algae) brings lightness and provides the body’s cells with essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, etc.
Because Seeing, and then Seeking, Verifying and Believing, allows us to marvel at…
… 80-year-olds doing yoga more flexibly than 25-year-olds.
… people with Type II diabetes modifying their diet for a few days, and then normalizing their sugar levels.
… the multitude of people suffering from migraine or arthritis, improve their lot by changing their lifestyle: nutrition, rest, attitude, movement, environment.
Because Life can astonish and amaze with the surprises it holds in store, the synchronicities that sometimes seem to emerge from chance encounters.
